Google is making significant strides in enhancing the smart home experience for its users with new products, app redesigns, and support for open standards like Matter underscores their commitment to providing a seamless and integrated smart home environment.

Nest Doorbell:

Nest introduced its second-generation wired Nest Doorbell.
The new model is 30% more compact than its predecessor.
It boasts features such as 24/7 recording support and improved image quality, ensuring clarity under diverse lighting and weather scenarios.
The product is now available in the US and Canada, retailing at $180.
Nest Wifi Pro:

Nest Wifi Pro is Nest’s inaugural router that supports Wi-Fi 6E.
It operates across three frequency bands: 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz, providing coverage for areas up to 2,200 square feet.
The router comes with a single Ethernet LAN port and is designed to continuously assess network performance, automatically giving priority to high-bandwidth activities.
It’s currently available for pre-order, with the price starting at $200 for a single pack.
Google Home App Redesign:

The Google Home app has undergone a significant redesign.
A new “Favorites” tab has been added, granting users quick access to their most frequently used devices and camera feeds.
The app introduces “Spaces,” allowing users to categorize their devices and even craft custom categories.
